Below, you'll find information on important dates and the necessary steps to apply to St. Mary's.

STEP 1: Activate your admissions portal by completing the inquiry form.

All applicants must submit their St. Mary's Lynn application online and all required forms are accessible through the portals. After submitting the inquiry form, you may immediately continue to application to complete the form later please check your email for your login information on how to log in to the online application portal.

STEP 2: Complete the St. Mary's online application. Please see important information needed below:

Email for Math Teacher, English Teacher and Principal/Guidance Counselor to submit request for recommendations
Email to submit request to current school for official transcripts. St. Mary's requires the past 2 years and current year-to-date transcripts.
All grade 9 applicants are invited to apply for St. Mary's Garrity Scholarship. If interested, please check yes on the online application and students will be prompted to write a specific essay for this application.
All grade 9 applicants must take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Click here to learn more.
IEP/504 form if applicable

STEP 3: If you intend to apply for financial aid, please complete the application online.

STEP 4: Register for an in-person St. Mary's Preview Tour if interested in visiting campus. All events available to attend are listed in your online application portal.

STEP 5: Await Your Decision
Admission decisions for the 2026–2027 school year will be sent by email on January 31. Applications submitted after the priority deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis, subject to space availability and/or tuition assistance.

Important Admissions Dates & Deadlines

Entering Grade 9

The application for the 2026-2027 academic year is now live. Please be mindful of the important dates below for students applying for grade 9:

November 1, 2025: FACTS application for tuition assistance opens for the 2026-27 school year.

December 14, 2025: Garrity Scholarship deadline for the 2026-27 school year. This deadline includes the completion of the entire online application and submission of the Garrity Essay. Then you will be considered for the Garrity Scholarship Interview process.

Garrity Interview Dates: January 20 and 21, 2026, 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Details will be emailed to candidates at a later date.

January 5, 2026: St. Mary's application preferred deadline for the 2026-27 school year. Priority deadline to apply for tuition assistance. Applications received after this deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis and accepted based on space available. This includes completion of the High School Placement Test (HSPT).

January 31, 2026: Applicants who have submitted their applications by January 5, 2026 will be notified of their admission decision by email. All decisions, including financial aid and merit scholarships, will be posted in the online admissions portal.

March 1, 2026: Deadline to submit enrollment deposit to reserve your seat for the 2026-27 school year.

The application for the 2026-2027 academic year is now live. Please be mindful of the important dates below for grades 6-8:

January 5, 2026: St. Mary's application preferred deadline for the 2026-27 school year. Priority deadline to apply for tuition assistance. Applications received after this deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis and accepted based on space available.

Entering Early Education

The application for the 2026-2027 academic year is now live. Please be mindful of the important dates below for our Early Education Program:

November 1, 2025: FACTS application for tuition assistance opens for the 2026-27 school year.

Rolling Admissions Decisions: Applicants who have submitted their applications online will be notified of their admission decision by email. All decisions, including financial aid and merit scholarships, will be posted in the online admissions portal. Space is limited and families are encouraged to apply early to ensure space is available for your student.

Application Requirements

Students entering Pre-Kindergarten must be 4 years old by September 1.
Students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1.
All Early Education applicants must sit for a student screening. Sign up online in the admissions portal.
Students entering Grade 1 must be 6 years old by September 1.
