In support of their teammates, the Lady Spartans Girls Lacrosse team is dedicating their May 6th game to spreading the word about these difficult diseases. Please join them in their efforts to raise awareness and funds for this important cause. Raffles/Refreshments will be available for purchase.

SMH THEATRE COMPANY'S A LITTLE MERMAID
Congrats to SMH Theatre Company's successful production of A Litlle Mermaid on April 29 and 30. Great job to the cast and Faculty Staff Advisors Ms. Amy Donovan '12 and Ms. Lauren Kreamer.
STUDENT COUNCIL BREAKFAST
The Student Council hosted a breakfast on Friday, April 28 with parents, staff and administrators to congratulate leaders on service and welcome the new student council leaders.

STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN LAW DAY
Twenty-six St. Mary's Honors US History I students participated in the Lynn Juvenile Court Law Day Essay Contest on Law Day, May 1. The annual program allowed students to see the Juvenile Court facility and hear about the role of the juvenile courts and about careers available in the court system from individuals who work in Lynn Juvenile Court.
St. Mary's sophomore Connor Mackey received his award as winner of the Lynn Juvenile Court Law Day Essay Contest from Judge Amy L. Nechtem, Chief Justice of Massachusetts Juvenile. Associate Justice Garrett McManus and Asst. Chief Probation Officer Jay Fraher P'17 look on.
Connor Mackey '19 read his essay on the historic and continuing impact of the 14th Amendment at Lynn Juvenile Court.
Kristin Fraher P'17 receives the Attorney Lynne M. O'Connell Law Day Award for her service to the court. Fraher is the Supervisor of the Juvenile Diversion Program for the Essex County District Attorney's Office.
STUDENT LEARNS AT BOSTON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
Lauren Gonzalez '18 completed an 8 week program at Boston University-School of Medicine on Careers in Medicine this pat Sunday. The program included experts on Microbiology, Histology, Physical therapy, Physiology, Infectious diseases, Surgery, Emergency room medicine, Primary care and several others. Lauren's exposure to this program helped solidify her decision to look at colleges that have medical programs.
MARIAN DIVISION STUDENT OF THE MONTH DECLAN DORGAN '21
Declan Dorgan '21 was awarded the Student of the Month by the Lynn Rotary Club at a luncheon at the Porthole on Thursday, April 27. Declan is pictured with his teacher Mr. Steadman, his parents, Dave and Kim Dorgan and brother Nolan Dorgan '22.

Edward Power in Mrs Georges 7th grade Life Science class is seeing what life would be like without opposable thumbs during a lab on Evolution/Natural Selection.
Students, Michelle Callahan, Declan Dorgan and Rylee Flannery in Mrs. Georges 8th grade physical science class are organizing their data in lab so they can graph it then present it.
Arianna Alberti '18, Francesca Alberti '18 and Eliza Alberti attended an Engineering Day event. The girls had a wonderful time and really appreciated the insight into the field of engineering!
Marissa Walsh, Lynn resident, author, book editor, and literary agent, visited the Marian Division Book Club and talked about her experiences in the field of writing. Pictured are Marissa, Head of School Grace Cotter Regan, Linda Renzi, advisor, and book club members.
