May 11, 2018 St. Mary's seniors pose for a picture as they complete their last classes! SENIORS PREPARE TO MOVE ON It is a time for change at St. Mary's! Today marks the last day of classes for our Seniors - the Class of 2018. They will be back for finals next week, but today surely marks the end of an era for this group of students. CAMPUS MINISTER ANDREA ALBERTI HONORED Congratulations to Andrea Alberti, St. Mary's Campus Minister, as she was honored at a luncheon on Wednesday, May 9 as a recipient of the prestigious Archdiocese of Boston Excellence in Education Award. Five elementary school teachers and five secondary school teachers were selected as the first ever recipients of the award. The recipients were honored at a luncheon with Cardinal Seán O'Malley and Superintendent of the Archdiocese of Boston Catholic Schools Kathy Mears. This annual award honors elementary and secondary school teachers' commitment to developing saints and scholars in the Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Boston. The teachers selected demonstrate strong leadership qualities, model a faith-filled life, promote academic excellence and are committed to their students and school. Every day, they inspire students from all backgrounds and abilities to learn and they actively collaborate with their peers, students, and families to create a welcoming environment and culture of success.
MARIAN DIVISION EIGHTH GRADE VISTED NEW YORK On Thursday and Friday, April 26-27, St. Mary's Marian Division Eighth grade students went on a field trip to New York City. They visited St. Patrick's Cathedral, Top of the Rock, Time Square, saw Aladdin on Broadway, took a boat cruise to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and went to The Bronx Zoo.

CAITLIN MATHERS '18 AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP Congratulations to St. Mary's Senior, Caitlin Mathers, who was awarded the Light the Way Scholarship at Assumption College. The Light the Way Scholarship is awarded to students who utilize their abilities to Light the Way for others. Marian Division sixth grade student, Michael Kallelis, pictured center, completed the 20 mile Walk for Hunger on Sunday, May 6th 2018. St. Mary's students were honored for their academic success at the North Shore Chamber of Commerce Honors dinner held on Tuesday, May 8.
