November 29, 2019 VIEW OF THE NEW STEM AND GATEWAY BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. have GRATEFUL
This is the time of year when we pause from our busy lives and gather to give thanks, and here at St. Mary's we are thankful for our Spartan community and the ability to provide academic excellence to students each day.
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all we are grateful for. It is also a time to practice gratitude, spend time with loved ones and of course, enjoy some football.
Giving begets gratitude, and gratitude can beget giving. Let your own appreciation for what we have been given move us to give generously what we can. Philanthropist W. Clement Stone once remarked, "If you are really thankful, what do you do? You share."
We have so much to share about our Spartan Community this week.
The senior girls beat the juniors, 14-9, in the annual St. Mary's Powderpuff Football Game at Manning Field on Nov. 25. A good-sized crowd was on hand to watch the hard-fought contest, which came down to the final play.
We were extremely happy to have welcomed back the 2019 young alumni to campus.
Our students, faculty and staff showed their blue and gold Spartan Pride each day of the week! Homecoming and Pep Rally was a huge success. Later that evening, our football team played against Austin Prep with spirit.
We are so grateful for our St. Mary's family.
