October 8, 2021 RACHELS CHALLENGE HAS A SPECIAL PRESENTATION EXPLORING YOUR CRAFTS
We love a good week full of Spartan Pride here on Tremont Street.
Our clubs and groups are flourishing this fall.
St. Mary's Theatre Company, under the new direction of Brandon Hayes, started off their year with a "Coffee House" on Tuesday night. There are 45 members of our Theatre Company and there were many performances from all members between stage crew, IT crew, actors and singers.
Rachel's Challenge welcomed a special guest speaker from the Rachel's Challenge Organization and continued the tradition of signing the "I Accept Rachel's Challenge" poster that has been happening for over a decade now at St. Mary's. We love to see traditions continue within our halls.
All of our clubs offer great educational and real world learning skills, a circle of classmates and friends, and are a perfect way to explore your crafts and interests.
At St. Mary's we offer a variety of clubs and extra curricular activities like Robotics, Chess Club, Environmental Club, Ping Pong Club, Yearbook Group, Student Leaders, Stock Club and more!
SPARTAN NEWS RACHELS CHALLENGE AT ST. MARY'S This week, Jim Kennedy from Rachel's Challenge met with students for a Rachel's Challenge Retreat. It was a great event as the students signed their "I Accept Rachel's Challenge" after the presentation. Upon signing this, students accept the challenge to start their own chain reaction of kindness, whether it is looking for the best in others, choosing a positive influence, or doing a small act of kindness toward someone else, they acknowledge that the chain reaction starts with them.
WEDNESDAY REFLECTIONS Wednesday, October 6 marked the first day of St. Mary's Wednesday Reflections. For the next several weeks, St. Mary's morning prayer will be extended to feature a reflection from a member of St. Mary's community in order to share their thoughts with our students. We hope you enjoy this week's reflection from St. Mary's School Nurse, Lisa Morin-Plante. Watch here.
