SNOW CAMPS: March 1 - 3, 2019

CAMPS stands for Christ As My Personal Savior and seeks to give young people an intimate relationship with Jesus. SnowCAMPS is designed for 7th and 8th graders, but high school students have the opportunity to attend as leaders.

The CAMPS message focuses on having young people recognize themselves as 'masterpiece in the mirror.' In addition to fascinating speakers and talks (which many students attest to not being the least bit boring), young teens have the opportunity to engage in numerous fun activities like: snow tubing, jello wrestling, cricket spitting, video games, foosball, air hockey, ping pong, bonfires, and much more! While some of these activities may seem funny and unusual, it’s unique activities like these that lead 150 strangers to bond together through Christ.

For years, students from St. Mary’s have loved attending the CAMPS weekends as leaders. The friendships in Christ and bonds that are formed over the weekend are invaluable to young teens preparing to begin their high school career.

Snow Camps Staff Meeting

Snow Camps Staff Meeting prepares retreat leaders and staff members for the Snow Camps Retreat in March. Attendees will learn how to lead students in group activities and discussions, as well as get to know one another.
