Guiding Voices

Guiding Voices is a new speaker series at St. Mary’s that invites inspiring alumni, business professionals, community leaders, and friends of the school to share their experiences, insights, and personal journeys with our students.

This series, created by Head of School Mark Doyle ’76, is intended to complement the St. Mary’s educational experience by bringing voices from beyond the classroom into meaningful connection with our students. Through thoughtful conversations and real-life stories, students will gain exposure to a wide range of perspectives, challenges, and opportunities. The series is designed to help them explore possible paths beyond St. Mary’s while learning about leadership, service, resilience, innovation, and purpose.

Each Guiding Voice gives students the chance to learn not only what someone does, but how they got there, what they discovered along the way, and what wisdom they would pass on to the next generation.

Because sometimes the most powerful lessons come from hearing someone’s story.
