Codi Butt, an active member of the class of 2019, has had many accomplishments during her time at St. Mary’s. Codi lived in Lynn for the first part of her life and later moved to Swampscott with her parents and two brothers. After attending Swampscott middle school, Codi decided to join the St. Mary’s community as a freshman in 2015. Right off the bat, Codi stood out as being athletic, smart, and caring. Being named a captain of the varsity lacrosse team her junior and senior years and captain of the varsity hockey team her senior year, it is apparent that she possesses valuable leadership skills and excels in her sports. In addition to athletics, Codi is also a member of the school Spanish Club, National Honor Society, Student Council, the Mentor Program, and the Scholar’s Program. On top of all these activities, she also manages to keep a schedule full of honors and Advanced Placement classes where she earns exemplary marks. Some of the things Codi loves about St. Mary’s are the close-knit, family-like environment and that everyone is willing to help each other. In the future, Codi plans on attending West Point in New York and studying on their premed track. After college, she plans
on becoming an active duty member of the United States Army.
